Beautiful dress but weird fit. Halterneck is far too long to cover the top half of the body properly.

The neck tie up is far too long. My daughter who is nearly 8 has had to squeeze into a size 5 and I still need to move the button for the neck piece to be short enough to cover her chest. This is the dress that was chosen for a dance performance, had it not been for this then I would have returned it for a refund. It’s a really poor design which is a shame because it’s such a pretty dress.
