The Brancaster is inspired by a submariner jumper worn by the Royal Navy and sailors alike. It’s large roll neck will keep the elements out. It is a simple plain knit in a heavier gauge for Autumn/Winter. This roll neck is incredibly soft to touch and comfortable to wear. We have used a Donegal yarn to make the Brancaster, this heritage yarn has tweed flecks running through it. The Brancaster fits true to size and is based on our classic silhouette, but due to its heavier weight will feel a little different to our other classic styles. It is naturally stain resistant and also resistant to body odours. Handwash with cold water only, don’t use fabric softener, use a wool detergent, and always check the wash care label inside the garment. You should expect some natural pilling as the garment is worn and washed. The pilling is easily removed with a pilling comb. Sam is 6ft, Chest 40”, Waist 321/2” and is wearing a size medium 80% Wool, 20% Nylon.
