I have recently purchased a few crochet tops as they are a great season inbtweener & can look dressy enough for an evening. I saw this cream top & it had a retro 70's vibe sleeves slightly flared. & patten all over is really nice & good quality no dangerly threads & although slightly more expensive well worth it, as it's a staple that will remain in my wardrobe for years to come. Looks great with different coloured vest tops under for a day time look, but crochet pattern quite close so eye detracted from it actually being too see thru. I would imagine if purchasing the black top it would be more see thru.
